Britain’s Got Talent, or has it?

Simon Cowell opened tonight’s show by biting back against fix claims on Britain’s Got Talent, which is fair enough, but how bad is the judging?

Why do they have to pick a variety of acts, why can’t they just pick the best 40, when you get some of the acts that have been on this week, compared to some that have gone home, some of them they put through couldn’t carve a career, until Nelson gets his eye back, yet some who are at home, I am sure can make a good living from what they do.

A lot of people boo Simon Cowell, but one thing he has always done across his shows is tell the truth, some people don’t like to hear it but he is honest, sometimes it is best to tell people they are no good to save further embarrassment, surely some of them know they are talentless or tuneless.

The one thing about Britain’s Got Talent is that the winning acts stay around for a lot longer than the Karaoke singers from X Factor, who these days fall off the radar after Christmas, about three weeks after the show, it comes to something when the build up to X Factor and the Cheryl Cole saga is bigger news than all the winners from the past few years.

In BGT, the judges can do it because there is some real smart acts that are on, last year’s winners really were special, unlike X Factor, who has Louis Walsh as a judge and then three others who they make up near the time. Mind you the judges can be outdone by some of the audiences, why they chant off to somebody who is having a go astounds me, how about instead of chanting from the safety of the seats, why don’t they have the balls to get up and have a go.
