Ruth Badger, ex Apprentice, Badger or bust, The Big Idea, both on Sky, and now University of Wolverhampton, yes Ruth Badger is coming to Telford to pass on her business knowledge and experiences to assist the local business community.
Ben Coates of BK Business Solutions has pulled off this coup and is proud of his achievement, in trying to inject lift into Shropshire’s business economy, he has gone for one of the best speakers on the circuit, and he is also making it a full evening of entertainment, utilising the splendid lecture theatre facilities in the conference centre, Ben saw an opportunity to home peoples business knowledge and to prove that local business real is best.
He said “I have known Ruth for a few months now and have been trying to bring her to Shropshire so the local community can learn from somebody who has met and worked with Sir Alan Sugar, short of the man himself, this is one of the best alternatives.
I have admired Ruth since her Apprentice appearance, I also followed her Badger or Bust, she is confident, firm and focused, these are valuable assets in business, especially in the current climate whilst we try to climb out of the dark days from the past two years.
This recovery is slowing taking shape, but we all seem to be taking two steps forward and one step back, what I personally am hoping to learn from Ruth is how to avoid the slips, what pit holes to look out for in business that I haven’t experienced yet. I have a lot of local business friends that I also want to share this unique experience.”
The event is planned for October 13th 2011, the evening will consist of a meet and greet reception, then a buffet, a pre-show, then Ruth herself, Ruth is believed to be preparing something special as she is a local girl, from just up the M54, there is also a promise of a Q&A session.
Ben is looking for sponsors for the event, where there will also be a chance for people to demonstrate their products to the huge audience, in a relaxed atmosphere he is really hope that new business contacts are made and that business will be done.
